Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Your Right to Cancel (Distance Selling)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel any purchase made on this website within 14 days of the transaction date, without giving any reason.

This 14-day cancellation period is called your "cooling-off period."

2. Clinical Hypnotherapy Sessions

Cancellation Before a Session Begins

If you purchase a hypnotherapy package (single session, starter pack, or Gut-Directed Power Pack) and have not yet attended any session, you may cancel within 14 calendar days of purchase for a full refund.

Cancellation After a Session Has Started

Once you have attended one or more sessions, you have partially used the service. In this case, we will refund you pro-rata for unused sessions in the package.

Example: If you purchased a 6-session Power Pack for £495 and attended 2 sessions, the refund would be calculated as (4 remaining sessions ÷ 6 total sessions) × £495 = £330.

Cancelling Individual Sessions (Rescheduling)

• Cancellations or rescheduling requests made 48 hours or more before a scheduled session: no charge.
• Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice: the session fee may be forfeited.
• In exceptional circumstances (illness, bereavement, emergency), we will always try to accommodate you. Please contact us as soon as possible.

3. Test Kits

Before the Kit Is Dispatched

You may cancel your test kit order for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, provided it has not yet been dispatched.

After the Kit Is Dispatched (Unopened)

If you receive a test kit and have not opened or activated it, you may return it within 14 days of receipt for a full refund. You are responsible for return postage costs.

After the Kit Has Been Opened or Activated

For hygiene and biological safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns of opened test kits. This is consistent with Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (goods that have been unsealed and cannot be returned for health protection or hygiene reasons).

4. Free Consultations

Free 20-minute consultations can be cancelled at any time with no charge. Please give us as much notice as possible via Calendly or by emailing us directly.

5. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

To exercise your right to cancel, please contact us clearly in writing:

Please include:

• Your name and email address used at purchase
• The product or service you wish to cancel
• Your reason for cancellation (optional, but helpful)

6. How and When We Process Refunds

• We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your valid cancellation request or returned goods.
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method (Stripe/card).
• You will receive a confirmation email when the refund is processed.

7. Statutory Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. For independent advice, visit the Citizens Advice website at www.citizensadvice.org.uk.
